Bruno Paillard Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru NV

100% Chardonnay, from Le Mesnil, Oger and Chouilly. First-pressed juice. 4 years on lees. A deliberately reduced mousse pressure. Very pale indeed. Gosh, this is explosively pungent, and almost as though it were older than it is. Extremely tight knit and without too much mousse. Could stand in very happily at the table for a superior Chablis. Gunsmoke finish.
